ShameWillFollow Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I recently built a "power flower" (13 energy collectors connected to 5 anti-matter relays connected to 1 energy condenser for the purpose of producing fast emc) and it is made out of entirely mk3 components. The speed at which it creates EMC is surprisingly not consistently fast. When I first put in an item to be condensed, it generates at a ludicrous speed. Within a couple seconds, though, it slows down drastically (to about the speed of a power flower with mk2 components). Is there a reason for this to be happening? P.S. The light level on the collectors is not a problem as I have a glowstone block on top of each and every collector. EDIT: I discovered the reason. By not having an item in the condenser for a certain amount of time, the anti-matter relays generate and store the EMC. As soon as I put an item in the condenser, the EMC is transferred to the condenser extremely quickly until all the EMC in the relays is exhausted.
Nolz Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 About the glowstone blocks, if your flower is Mk3 you don't need any glowstone The Mk3 Relay's emit light if I am right, which gets picked up by the collectors
