Eyeball114 Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 I just went from a wireless home server to a wired one. Now no one can connect to my server besides me through localhost. I thought maybe going wired had messed with some port forwarding but it seems nothing on that side has changed. Anyone have and idea what might be the fix for something like this? Thanks. And perhaps add more info, like, if you run Windows, doing something like ipconfig/all on the console and posting the results? I will research more. Dozix Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Going from wireless to wired will have changed your MAC adress, thus making the router think that your computer is a new one. My guess is that the portforwarding is set to your old internal IP adress and not the new one you got when using wired. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
