Launcher Won't Open! Workflow Running? HELP! (mac)

Launcher Version: 3.1.2

Operating System: Mac OS X Version 10.7.4

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program: Not Sure

Description of Problem:

Whenever I start the technic launcher, nothing happens. An icon of a rotating gear appears at the top of the screen that says 'workflow running' and it just stays there forever, and the launcher never opens. I've tried so many things and this is becoming really frustrating. Any help? Please?

Please post a log. You should be using the apple suplied version of Java witch for them is Java 6.

There's java 7 which is supplied by apple too, and I'm using it.

How are you not sure what your antivirus program is?

You use the default antivirus? I guess for an OSX user it's not as bad as a Windows user using the default anitvirus.

yeah it's relatively strong. But I doubt the antivirus is the problem here.
