Items Disappearing

Title: Items Disappearing

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Occurs in both Windows and Mac OS X, on different computers (my friends and I's)

Java Version: Latest (7.7 I believe)

Description of Problem:

Items constantly disappear. For example, sometimes when my friend gives me items, I won't get all of them.

Also, we recently setup a miner to auto-mine blocks. It constantly resets (items in chest disappear AND our drill and tools disappear.) Another example: I had a charging bench full of charged batteries that I had made. Went out to mine and came back - they were GONE.

I run our server and checked out everything. CPU and RAM usage is good. No errors in console. We both have an excellent (below 100ms) connection to server.

I'm running stock Tekkit - no 3rd party plugins.

If anybody knows a solution to this problem, please let me know. This is making Tekkit nearly unplayable, especially to see Miner items reset constantly.

Well, if your tossing items to your friend, make sure you toss them to the LEFT, not the right, as the right sude

deletes items dropped onto it (NEI feature). I suggest using inventory tweaks (ctrl+clicking, q+clicking, ctrl+shift+clicking, all if these do different things.) Inventory tweaks is already in Tekkit, so

don't worry about adding it in.

Ok, but what explains items disappearing in other things? Miner, charging bench, etc.

Also, when items disappear in miner, I have no idea where they go. They just disappear. The drill, card, everything - just disappears. Also, items in the chest disappear.

EDIT: I WAS JUST IN equivalent exchange and all my stuff DISAPPEARED right in front of my eyes!

This was happening to me. I think the world file was corrupted somehow, but that's a hunch since the world file worked fine when I imported it to single player. Had to roll back to a pretty old backup and now shit's fine.

I don't know what's going on. I logged onto a single player map and I had the same inv I did on the server (before it reset.)

I was just moving items in my inv and then it reset back to what it was like.

I think I'm just going to go back to vanilla minecraft.
