Launcher won't open

Operating System: Windows 7 professional

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program: McAfee Total Protection

Description of Problem:

I open the launcher, but nothing happens after that :/

None

Error Log:

Just got the launcher since my pc is back to normal and it has nothing in it.

3.1 is not the launcher version. Disable McAfee.

A better description will yield a better solution.

I disabled McAfee and it still won't open :/ The javaw process isn't even started.

Go into your .techniclauncher folder, and look in the logs folder. If there is text in the 0 file, please put it on pastebin (if it is very long) and post it here. Can you tell me step by step what happens when you try to launch?

All I see is a launcher_init.txt and its empty.
