adding texture packs

how do you had texture packs cause whn i got into texture packs click open texture pack folder my launcher freezes and i cant do anythng but close the launcher

Find the folder and place the texture packs in it.

Launch Tekkit, go into Texture packs, open to insert a folder and drag the .rar folder in there and then your good to go
