Title: Chunks not loading, kicked with Java Error

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

Java Version: 1.7.0_07

Description of Problem:

One of my friends is having a problem when is tries to connect to our Tekkit server. When he joins, either only a few chunks load, or none at all. Soon after he is kicked with the either the Java error below or 'End of Stream'.

The server console shows no errors and says he disconnects either with disconnect.overflow or looses connection.

No one else on the server has had any problems. He has tried reinstalling Java and Tekkit, yet the problem continues.

Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

If you controll the server try restarting everything and have him restart everything too and make sure he is the first person to join the server, up untill recently that worked for me and my friends server when I had that problem.

the server restart doesnt help, we have done that and i have been having the same issues, really getting annoyed.

You will get this error when you have software on your end blocking the connection. You need to go through and check your firewall settings. You have either a firewall or anti-virus program stopping you from connecting to programs on that port. Add the technic launcher to the exceptions list in your default firewall program to fix this.
