Falions Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 For the past two months or so I've run my Tekkit server fine. It has never once before lagged for me at such a level. Just tonight it's started to stop loading chunks, and it will take at least 10-15 seconds for interfaces to open such as recyclers or alchemy bags. Recently, I have been trying to pump lava out of the nether. Ever since then, the lag has become immense. I've gotten rid of everything I've built in the nether, but nothing has changed. However, this will only happen around the biggest factory on the server, which is my own base of operations. When I type in /spawn everything around there will work fine, no lag whatsoever. I can click everything there and it will react, but around my factory it takes a while. Sometimes the server will even disconnect me around there. When I load up my world in singleplayer it will work for a total of fifteen seconds before dropping to 0 fps. I have no idea what to do, and I don't want to have to start a new world. Any tips? I'm running CB++ Version 75, my only plugins are: SafeCreeper TimeLock jCommands NoSplosion ProperWeather Essentials However....checking Speedtest.net it says my upload speed at the moment is only 0.50mb/s If that's the source of my problems, let me know. If it could be something else, please let me know that too. And would anyone know the reason why my upload speed is so slow tonight? Quote
All_Star_Gamer_x Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Depends of the speccs of the host, and how much memory and ram tekkit is using Quote
GreenWolf13 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Bump. No. Don't do this. It is against the rules. Quote
Watchful11 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 It might be flowing lava in the nether, pumping can cause this. Quote
Falions Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 It might be flowing lava in the nether, pumping can cause this. I've destroyed all the pumps and all that stuff. The nether seems to be working fine, but the overworld isn't. Any help? Quote
Watchful11 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Once you pump lava, lots of flowing lava remains, this can lag the server. Just an idea, don't know if it is the actual problem. Quote
jodelahithit Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Install worldedit and try /rem items 1000, there may be just thousands of item entities laying on the ground somewhere! Quote
