Launcher Version: The very latest version from today's date: 10/6/12 Minecraft Version: 1.3.2

Operating System: Windows 64Bit

Java Version: I have Java7 64

Description of Problem:

I go to the website and I "download" the technicLancher. I use google chrome so it appears along the bottom of my browser and when it's done i click on it and run it. Right after I run it the error message pops up and says, "Technic Launcher Updater Has stopped working." I can't go into the %appdata% folder and run it from there because i only have a logs folder and nothing else. Someone please help me!!!! I would really like it.

I am getting a “Technic Launcher has Stopped Working Error”!

If your launcher is encountering this error, a solution is to download the .jar file from http://www.technicpack.net/download/ (pick the third from the left (Linux/Jar)). If you are using Internet Explorer you will also need to change the file extension (the ending of the file) to .jar instead of .zip. Once you’ve done that, all you need to do is double-click on the file to run the launcher.
