I can play vanilla minecraft through the launcher just fine but for some reason I am no longer able to play any of the modded version from the list, specifically I'm trying to play Tekkit.
They will download fine and then launch properly but as soon as the Mojang logo appears it just hangs on me and stays on that screen forever until I cause it to crash fully by spam clicking 'Close Program' on the task bar until windows realizes it's not responding.
It will stay on the Mojang screen forever until I cause this, it isn't the mods loading or anything for certain. I have a powerful rig.
It's strange though because it doesn't 'freeze' until I make it freeze. The window becomes completely unresponsive and clicking anywhere on it does nothing, even clicking the X or maximize and minimize buttons do absolutely nothing, usually meaning I have to force close it's process.
I've tried different versions of Java all from clean installs, I've tried 32 bit and 64 bit and they both do the same thing. I've tried clean installing Tekkit loads of times and even tried eariler versions but they all do the same thing and I cannot get past the Mojang screen.
Error Messages:
I get no error messages at all.
The only error I get is eventually causing it 'To stop responding' and windows asks to close it if I try to close it over and over again until windows realizes.
