How to set up Technic

Hey guys,

I am Relivity new to setting up mod and this one is hell I've looked for youtube videos on how to set it up and I just keep getting the same result witch is downloading the launcher and having nothing happen....It would be appreciated if someone would walk me step by step though the set up process I'm using minecraft 1.2.3 and a PC.

1. Delete your minecraft folders you will never need them again, unless you want them for memories.

2. Go here http://www.technicpack.net/technic6/ (I have no idea how to do the hyperlink)

3. Download your files, mac, pc, what ever you are on.

4. Unzip what you just downloaded.

5. Take the .jar file it gives you and run it.

6. Click the bar on top of the window you get.

7. A drop down menu wildly appears, click technic.

8. Put in you minecraft stuff. Ex: Username: Slongman Password: I<3JayZ

9. Place minecraft like you normally would.
