SwiftWolf's Rending Gale bug

I'm having this weird problem on my Tekkit server. When I press C to activate the Rending Gale's abilities (red) it switches quickly and goes back to the normal one. Also, if I go into flying mode it stays the normal empty color, if I try to switch between modes it goes from purple to blue and then if I try to land it stays purple and won't go back to normal... Really weird bug and has started happening only today. I have updated my server completely and my client too and it still happens (for me and everyone else on the server). It's annoying and if you know how to fix it it would really help.
