Updater is not working.

Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit

Java Version: 1.7.0_07

Antivirus Program: Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010

Description of Problem:

When I start the updater, it stops and gives me an error message telling me to check my internet connection at www.techniclauncher.net in my browser. I enter the address on Chrome, and it redirects me to a search page. Any ideas?

Update: I turned the AV off and I got the same error message. Also was turning off the real time protection what you meant?

Turn of your AV. It sounds like something is blocking the Launcher's communication with the internet.

Hi. Just renewing the thread since I updated it a little while ago. I added the update to my original message. Any further help would be much appreciated!
