hi,

is there a way, how to clone whole folder/files structure to my server for download? (changing default url of download in source code)

i need this because of modifying modpack for my server (which is nearly impossible)

i know i can log network and determine downloaded files by that, but i want to be sure i dont miss something :)

Why is modifying the server mod pack nearly impossible? It's actually pretty easy to do, unless you're trying to add 15 different mods or something.

Oh, and if you should succeed, don't post links here. I have already kellered someone for doing that last week.

So, you're asking for a custom mod pack setup, integrated into the launcher, but in a different way? Yeah, that's already been asked for, and it's something the admins are looking into for the future, but you're not likely to see it real soon.

the simpliest way is imho cloning from technicpacks server (http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic), but since it returns 404 and dont list directories, it would be nice to acquire list of that files/folders so i could clone it onto my server :)

That's very unlikely to happen. The best you can probably do is put a file pack together, make a batch file to install it over the top of a Tekkit install, and host/send it to all people interested in joining your server. The problem with that is, of course, that those people won't be able to join any other servers.

thats not very comfortable, but its not bad option, thanks for a hint

anyway, since its opensource, some staff member/some user could have this list and share it :) i guess im not the first who tries to do something similar :)

it is open source, like you said. if you really want to know, it is probably in the source somewhere. I'd suggest taking a look. as always, you're welcome to fork it just like we did with the spout launcher to create the technic launcher.
