when i try to re install technic pack it brings up a error report.

Description of Problem:

when i deleted .technicpack i tried to reinstall technic after and when i try to it brings up a error report and when i go to the new .technicpack the only folder in there is the logs folder and it is empty.

Error Messages:

Technic launcher updater has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Disable AVG and then redownload the pack.

If your launcher is encountering this error, a solution is to download the .jar file from http://www.technicpack.net/download/ (pick the third from the left (Linux/Jar)). If you are using Internet Explorer you will also need to change the file extension (the ending of the file) to .jar instead of .zip. Once you’ve done that, all you need to do is double-click on the file to run the launcher.
