Setting up 2.1.1 Tekkit on a linux server

Is there a manual for this?

I downloaded the files to my normal comp for the server extracted them and then uploaded them to my server but when I run the specific script to run the server it starts and everything but doesn't load correctly.

Nevermind, looking through the forums I found a thread with the person with the same problem. Had to turn off advancedmachines in the modloader cfg

You don't need to disable it, you need to use Java 7.
