Equivalent Exchange - Hyperkinetic Lens & Nova Catalyst not working 2.1.1

Operating System: Windows 7

Version of Java: JRE 1.7u3 (Win 64bit)

Description of Problem: The Equivalent Exchange items Hyperkinetic Lens and Nova Catalyst are not working. The Nova Catalyst seems to do nothing at all and the Hyperkinetic Lens will actually shoot a projectile, but it only removes one block regardless of the power settings. Also it consumes the fuel correctly.

Is there any chance that anyone else can confirm this bug? This is a fresh install of 2.1.1 and a new world. Just trying to figure if it is my server or a known 2.1.1 problem.

You're not the only one. I posted this a little while ago but your report is definitely more detailed. I'm running 2.0 on my server and I'm having the same issue. Hitting C while wearing the gem armor doesn't work either.

I wish I could help figure this out, but alas I am pretty new to modding Minecraft. :-\

I too am having this problem, though for me in 2.0 my client thought the gem armor should be destroying stuff and the server disagreed making me stuck falling into the floor until it redrew the blocks around me. 2.1.1 seems to have fixed that making the client not even think its destroying blocks... This makes me wonder if it was intentional from either Technic or Equivalent Exchange for reasons unknown to me... I suppose having a few people with gem armor could definitively kill a server. Either way i only have a few people online so it would be nice if it worked. I'm pretty handy with java but i don't know much about Minecraft mod coding or where to start. I honestly don't even know where to go to disable EE so it might be a setting there... I will definitively be putting more time into it after finals but for now anyone have any ideas?
