Tekkit won't work!

Operating System: Mac Lion-latest

Java Version: Latest

Antivirus Program: None?

Description of Problem:

I open the technic launcher. Then chose tekkit. Next I login. Then it brings up the tekkit screen and closes immediately. Please help a.s.a.p.!

Error Messages:

Doesn't show one.

Error Log:

Don't know how to check that.

If you get past the Mojang screen you need to post in the Tekkit section. If you don't get past this screen, you need to actually give us some info...

What is your launcher version? What is your OS and bit number? What is your Java version? Do you know for sure you don't have an Antivirus? Read the sticky to find how to get your log and post it.

I do not get past nor to the Mojang screen. My launcher version is 1.0.2.0. OS X Lion 10.7.5. My computer is 64 bit. Java version 7 update 9. Yes, I do NOT have an Antivirus.

You need to downgrade your Java to Java 6. It is not easy but there is a thread around here with step by step instructions. I will see if I can find it and then post it here.
