cant convert world from 1.0 to 2.1.1

so i tried running midas gold with the patch to convert it from 1.0 to 1.1.4 then ran the world updater 1.4 to update the 1.1.4 to 2.1 and it seems like everything ran fine but when i go to load the world in single player it starts to load and then freezes displaying "saving chunks" http://pastebin.com/dCSj4Jx1

feeling prettttttttttttty stupid. didnt change the 2.0 to 2.1 on the client (facepalm)
