mac technic launcher crash

Launcher Version: 3.1.2

Operating System: Mac OSX Mountain lion version 10.8.2

Java Version: jre79u

Antivirus Program:

Description of Problem:

when ever i open the technic launcher it come up as normal but when i try to log in the launcher freezes and the whole program closes i checked the console and there were 3 error messages all of them i cant understand

Error Messages:

I've tried everything on this page and the launcher still crashes. I'm going to see if installing JRE6 will fix it. I've heard from other people that technic cant run with java 7 thanks for the help.

...That is what the link I posted tells you to do. Here use this:

1. Download the Java Preferences zip that saintnicster so graciously provided. (Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?5gbkjr3tgcek4pk)

2. Open Java Preferences

3. Right click on Java 7 (should open new finder window with one item in it called "1.7.0 jdk")

4. Move 1.7.0 jdk to trash

5. Open Technic Launcher

java -jar technic-launcher-latest.jar

or you could do it the simple way by making a folder putting the linux/jar version in the folder and type in terminal cd ~/Desktop/technic/

export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home

java -jar technic-launcher.jar
