Tekkit Help Achievements

I look through so many pages of bug reports and tekkit smp pages and i can not find a solution.

Basically the achievements keep resetting after you close out tekkit. This a known problem or a way I can fix it from resetting them?

Using the Linux/jar.file since the launcher will not work for me for some reason.

Any help is gratefully appreicated.Also as a small thing on the tekkit login page it wont show my skin only steve but my skin is ok ingame any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It's a bug with IC2 and in the code. There's a custom fix, go into the Technic section and search Achievment Reset. I think that's what the thread was called, anyway.
