New to Minecraft and need help with McMMo

Thanks for helping, ok downloaded McMMO and followed the instructions and nothing, it dosent work. I am on a tekkit server thru Vortec. I can try to give as much info as I can, just let me know what you need to know and I will supply what I can, is there anyone out there that can help me?
