Launcher is not working in MAC

Launcher Version: 1.0.2.0

Operating System: Mac OS X Build 11G63 Version 10.7.5

Java Version: Java for OS X 2012-006

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

Launcher starts as usual, when game + player is selected and login is clicked, the messages connecting to minecraft, checking for version and when its about to open the game window it stops and nothing further happens.

I tried already to deleted the tekkit folder (/Users/<<user>>/Library/Application Support/techniclauncher and application and starting from scratch. And same result.

It would be VERY relevant to add that I was playing tekkie when I got a software upgrade warning from MAC OS, i clicked it blindly (like all Mac things) and then tekkit didn't work any further. I check the software upgrade and there was an upgrade of Java from 005 to 006. Guess that's the issue.

It looks like you are using Java 7. AFAIK, the launcher on macs needs Java 6 to run. From what I hear, it is pretty complicated to do but there is a thread around here with detailed instructions.
