Description of Problem:

I loaded up Technic Launcher up and I get Update Failed. What should I do?

You download the file he links to, rename it to "minecraft_1.2.5" (the .jar will be put there on its own in windows 7) and then copy it to the appdata/roaming/.techniclauncher/cache folder. then run the launcher again

If that doesn't work make sure you turn off AVG.
