There is no Java 6 for mac anymore. Apple, in all their wisdom, got rid of it. It must now be downloaded through Oracle, who has not put up a mac binary yet.

Like I said, there is a guide on this site. Follow it.

not through technic

That was specifically stated in the question... He asked if your Vanilla Minecraft worked. (The one that isn't in the Launcher, that you get from Mojang. Doesn't matter though, because 99% sure your issue is Java.

Did you read the thread?

1. Download the Java Preferences zip that saintnicster so graciously provided.

2. Open Java Preferences

3. Right click on Java 7 (should open new finder window with one item in it called "1.7.0 jdk")

4. Move 1.7.0 jdk to trash

5. Open Technic Launcher, Sign in and have fun! :)

The bolded part is important

:P i probably could have looked over it in more detail. Is it only support to have one java 7 thing (1.7.0.jdk) or does it have 3 because i have 3 and when I right click the java 7 in Java Preferences it just brings up which ever one is in JavaVirtualMachines ???

Doesnt matter i found a fix,

  1. Download the Linux/Unix .Jar from the website (technicpack.net/download)
  2. Download this Awesome file :P
  3. Make sure these files are in the same folder or else it will come up with the error: Unable to access jarfile technic-launcher-latest.jar
  4. Login and have FUNNNNN :P
