Redstone Engines overheating problem

Hi everyone! I have just one small, but annoying problem. On my server redstone engines are overheating. When they turn red, after some time they just turn off, I need to manually cut redstone power for a minute or two. Of course it's connected to wooden pipe, so it has work to do. On single player they can go non stop all the time. What's the problem? I'm using Tekkit 3.1.2. I'll be very grateful for help.
