Windows is not an operating system, it is a group of operating systems. Which windows do you have (windows 7, windows vista, etc..) and what bit version is it (32 or 64 bit)? Java 7 is not specific enough. What update of java is it (java 7 update 7, java 7 update 9, etc..) and what bit version is it (32 or 64 bit)? What anti virus program do you have? What error messages are you getting? Where are the error logs. As Eloraam says, "Logs or it didn't happen".

Edit: Your launcher version is not 1.2.5, it should be 1.0.20. your Minecraft version is 1.2.5
