0 AlexanderDupre Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Read the top most sticky That sticky fixes Tekken and Technic, not Vogbox, Voxel or H/M. Those are still a problem, reaplacing their JAR files does nothing, switching versions in Options does nothing, or errors out once MC starts. There is nothing, so far to fix this issue. The first sticky has thirteen pages of fail. It fixes the first bit on the first page, and rambles incoherently from then on.

Incorrect, if you read a few pages in you will see that since the Voxel Box, H/M and Yogbox don't use Minecraft 1.2.5, you need to rename it to the Minecraft version that they use.

You don't just replace it with a 1.2.5 file then rename it to the right version... You need to get the 1.2.3 version and then rename it (if the modpack uses 1.2.3)

0 AlexanderDupre Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I am aware. I did that. I downloaded both 1.2.1 and 1.2.3 (recommended builds), renamed them to minecraft_#.jar, and selected them in options. This did not work. Once I read a suggestion, I tend to try it, and any alternative to it that I can think of before posting.

Your initial statement was incorrect, evidenced by the fact that numerous people have gotten H/M, YogBox, etc. to work using that solution and thus your issue is clearly different.
0 AlexanderDupre Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 No... CLEARLY you can't READ. My initial statement is NOT incorrect. Some people were helped, some were not. I am getting the same error as the guy who started this post, and it is obviously not fixed by the first sticky. If it were.... THIS POST WOULDN'T EXIST. I have tried using the latest build, instead of the recommended build, but I get error-ed out. It says that the Mine colony mod has an item in conflict. Fine with me, I wasn't planning on using it. Unfortunately, the mod manager button is faded out in the launcher. Possible fix: In Options, select Latest build (1.2.5) rather than Recommended build (1.2.1/1.2.3). Before hitting log in, delete the Mine Colony mod and folder from the .techniclauncher\yogbox\mods\ folder. Hit login, and all should be ok... On my end, so far so good. I will update otherwise.

No, you stated that that sticky did not offer a fix for the other mod pack. In reality it does, it may not solve all of them but it did solve most of them. Even if you have a similar error, posting on this guys bug report without actually adding any helpful info is not helpful. By posting your own bug report, you give us important info that we need to help you and give us info that can help us isolate the issue for others. I have tried using the latest build, instead of the recommended build, but I get error-ed out. It says that the Mine colony mod has an item in conflict. Fine with me, I wasn't planning on using it. Unfortunately, the mod manager button is faded out in the launcher. The YogBox is no longer supported on this forum. If you have issues with it you need to go to the Yogscasts site and post there. If you had actually said that your issue was with the YogBox, I would have told you to do what you just described. It is a pretty well known fix and a quick search of these forums would have told you how to fix it.
0 AlexanderDupre Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Well thank you for letting me know what I didn't need help with, where I could find the help I didn't need help with, and where I could ask for help with the problem I didn't have. You have been an enormous help. Problem solved.
