modpacks wont open

For some odd reason any modpack that i try to open installs for a little bit then opens up for a split second, closes, then the launcher reapears. i opened the console and saw this warning [WARNING] File version.json not found in C:\Users\Casen\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\hackslashmine\bin\modpack.jar
 ive poked around the internet a bit but i havent found anything useful to my situation.

try installing java 7 u80

i had the same and tried this and worked, make sure u either delete all other java or make sure in the launcher settings u have the path to java 7 u80

Its okay I found a solution!! After days I found out what to do!

 

Ok so go onto technic launcher, next under the X at the top right corner click launcher options, next go into Java settings and change where it says 1gb to 512mb. It worked for me and no other solution worked apart from this. I haven't seen anyone else talk about this so go round and spread the word!
