Description of Problem:

I set up the server properly, got it to run, and so on. However, I found that you could only build if you were op on the server. I don't have any plugins installed. Installing a permissions plugin and adding - modifyworld.* still gives the default user group a denied permission message saying they are not allowed to use dirt, or hit things with pickaxes, etc. So, I uninstalled the plugins again and deleted my entire server directory and reinstalled Tekkit Server from scratch. Again, same issue.

Error Messages:

You are not allowed to use DIRT.

I tried that already, and got no results. It's completely stumped me here. The only way you can build is if you have OP, yet there are no permission files saying that the default group can't build, namely because there are no groups.

Something's wrong in lines [2108,2135]. It's clearly a PEX bug.

I've tried uninstalling PEX, aand the problem persists.

How come? What happens in the logs when unprivileged users build without PEX?

The block instantly reappears. I think it may be linked to essentials though. I'm going to try removing that.
