Technic pack causes Driver Crash

Antivirus Program: Norton 360 Premier Edition Version 6.4.0.9

Description of Problem:

When playing Technic a few minutes after loading ANY map even new ones my ATI Display Driver always crashes, After recovery java.exe displays just a blank screen (but is still running). It was working last week but now it won't work. I have tried re installing java and updating my drivers. This is the only thing that crashes my drivers, they are stable for everything else, including Vanilla MC, and Tekkit

I have tried using Tekkit in SSP and that is absolutely fine.

(I have a ATI HD Radeon 4650-M)

I always have 1 GB allocated to Technic. I can easily use 1.5 GB but technic does this weird stuttering.

reinstall your OS.

the problem isn't specific to minecraft. It's an issue with the way ATI handles the drivers. The only solution found that works a little over half the time is a full reinstall. Also, use a legit windows install.
