server render problem

what's wrong when the server map is not rendering properly? It only renders an area of 20x20. Note it's not my own server, but when i try to joining an another server to see if there's the same problem. But it isn't. Can someone please tell me what's the problem? it's really frustating, i have even tried reinstalling tekkit with no result.

The server owner can specify in their server.properties file the area to be loaded around each player. It must be set really small for the server you mention.
