Redpower 2 distributing items

Hey guys,

This is my situation:

A chest with items on one side, multiple chests to recive those items on the other side.

All items are the same.

I'm using Redpower tubes & machines, no buildcraft!

I am looking for a way to distribute them by ammount. If for example 12 come in, I want 2 to go there --> ; 4 to go there <-- & 6 to go there ^ .

Any ideas??

Off the top of my head, a sorting machine in sequential mode will do it. Just have it sort the same item in each of its slots, and give each slot a different color.

There may be other solutions.
