Technic Launcher Gives Error On Start

Launcher Version: Latest

Operating System: Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2

Java Version: Jave 7u9

Antivirus Program: Sophos Anti-Virus

Description of Problem:

I downloaded the most recent Technic Launcher but every time I click on it to start it i get this error message:

The action “Run AppleScript” encountered an error.

Check the actionʼs properties and try running the workflow again.

I have searched and looked and different things all over the web and couldn't find a solution to it... This is really upsetting me: I tried reinstalling it and dowloading it several times again, but nothing solved it..

HELP PLEASEEEEEE

You need Java 6 (from Apple). There are some guides on the forums here so just search for them and you should be able to downgrade.
