i have a bukkit server and im wondering if i can get tekkit to run on that server so is it possible and if so how?

Tekkit IS a Bukkit server, it just has mods on it.

i know but is there a way to get tekkit on my bukkit server?

I don't think you'll be able to save your world unless you find a way to reload the chunks, otherwise you won't have any ores in chunks loaded before. Other than that, as long as your server is for Minecraft 1.2.5 you can just the plugins and map across.
