Quick question on Tekkit version

Description of Problem:

I'm not sure if it's already updated but on my Tekkit version it says 1.2.5 and not 3.1.2 unless it's the same thing. I was paying attention to the new update video on the Yogscast video and it said that there were new sound effects and what not but I have not noticed the changes at all when I played on a server. Can someone please verify?

You are getting Vanilla Minecraft and Tekkit confused. There are indeed new sounds in vanilla, but that version is not the version currently being used by Tekkit or Technic. They both are currently using Minecraft 1.2.5, but their respective versions are 3.1.2 and 7.2. Also, this isn't exactly what could really be classified as a bug report.
