Launcher won't log in, and won't start

Operating System: Mac OSX Lion

Java Version: 1.7.0_09

Antivirus Program: None, On a mac.

Description of Problem:

hiya, thanks for answering my little call of help. My problem for this launcher is that it will not start. It starts running the workflow, but crashes immediately, but the computer says the applet is still up. And sometimes, After a few restarts, it will open correctly (no tumblr feed) And wont authenticate with minecraft.net. I have attempted to reinstall java, Redownload the laucher, deleted the Techniclauncher folder. and nothing i can come up with will seem to work. thanks for any insight

Downgrade your Java to version 6 (There are guides on how to do that on these forums)
