When i start Tekkit update it always downloading only minecraft.jar it reach 100% and again minecraft.jar

The md5 thread is locked, with the final message being that this problem is totally resolved. This problem is not totally resolved, and multiple people are having the same problem. I've tried the work arounds from the other thread, no luck.

That specific problem was resolved. It was happening because a file was put in the wrong place/named the wrong thing, so the launcher was unable to locate the correct file. There are numerous different reasons for the md5 error, that specific one is no longer happening. If you are getting that error, you should post a bug report with a log so that we can help you.

I had exactly the same problem but I fixed it by updating minecraft.

I completely deleted the directory, stopped antivirus, redownloaded the launcher. Thank you for your help.
