After launcher, a window opens frozen on a white screen

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Java Version: Java 6 Update 35

Description of Problem:

After i have selected the modpack and logged in, a window opens but is frozen on a white screen. lwjgl is not activated in options and i cannot toggle this. i have tried deleting META-INF as said in COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS but the same white screen appeared.

If you type in search %appdata% then .techniclauncher, tekkit, bin then go into jinput.jar and delete everything in that .jar. this worked for me hope it helps.
