Since today I am having problems with people connecting to my server.

OS: windows 7

Tekkit 3.1.2

Java 6(last update before 7)

Port forwarded.

I myself can connect to the server with the inward ip, but my brother can not, and no one can connect through the outward ip.

Yesterday we could all still connect

Factory resets and hamachi are NO options unfortunatly..

More info if you ask for it.

Thanks

J

With my public address I assume you mean the outward ip found at " whatsmyip.org" if thats the case, then it didn't change, and if it did change, I already gave them the new ip, but i myself cant connect to that ip, only using " localhost" or the inward ip (192.168.x.x), also, assigning a different port didnt help (25565 standard, changed to 25566, then adding the port to the ip)

port checkers say that none of the ports (even standard ports) arent opened, which is strange, im sure i did the port forwarding correct and we could all connect at some point, but now no-one except the host can...

Then check to see if your IP4 address changed, you may have to adjust your port forwarding. And what do you mean by "it didn't change, but if it did change, I already gave them the new ip". Do you have a new public IP or not? If not, you would have not needed to "already give them" the new IP.

By this I mean, im not sure if the IP changed, I gave them the IP multiple times, so if it changed they got the new one as well, I Just checked, the IP4 is still the same, router doesnt need an update, everythings functioning well, except the server...

The only other thing I can think of is firewall issues, but I assume you checked those. Sorry I couldn't help, maybe someone else will have better advice. Good luck.

Thanks anyway, yeah, I checked the firewalls, disabled, enabled, deleted, reinstalled, nothing worked, which is funny, because it worked fine... im thinking to myself "what have i changed in the settings" but I assume that Whitelisting someone isnt that big of a problem... the whitelist is gone btw, so it shouldnt be a problem
