Title: One acount doesn't work

Version: 3.1.2

OS: win 7

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

I have my minecraft account and three separate kids accounts. I have a tekkit server running 3.1.3 and using the tekkit launcher with manual selection of 3.1.3. I have three laptops and on desktop as the tekkit clients connecting to my tekkit server.

My account plus two of the separate kids accounts work perfectly on all laptops and the desktop, but the third account will load to the main screen and go to the server list under mulitplayer. After the server is selected and the join server button is clicked, the word "loading..." appears for a few seconds. During this loading time I can see the account join my tekkit server and the mods are listed on the server interface. Then on the client side the launcher screen goes solid black for about a minute, then a crash report flashes too fast to read and the screen goes white.

I cleared out the logs and logged in with just the failed account and I have the results of that log posted below.

I see the critical error in the log but I do not know enough about java to figure out what the log is telling me.

Can anyone tell my one account will not work on a client where three other accounts work with no problems?

Is that account using the right version of tekkit? go into the options menu of the launcher and manually select the version that matches all the others.

Try moving his/her player file in the server to another location and spawn in what he/her had

java.lang.NullPointerException

i have had this happen with a single person on my server, it ended up being a mod item having the same item id as a vanillia item

a simple test is to remove the player file as DarthDavis suggested

but you may want to look at any item that was recently given to the player, picked up, or crafted to see if it was caused by a conflict
