Title: Server Disconnect: Black screen->White screen->Disconnect, no posted solutions work

Description of Problem:
I host a server for a few friends and all of us are having the same problem when connecting to the server. We go to the log in screen followed by a black screen and then either a white screen or a brief render of the world followed by a white screen at which point we disconnect. This all happened when I placed an Energy Crystal in a Mk2. Charging Bench. Immediately I and one other player were affected and when the third got closer to us he was disconnected as well. I have re installed tekkit, java and deleted player.dat files, whenever we approach our base and the bench we disconnect.
