Not Enough Memory

Can someone please help me. I am trying to launch Industrial Age the Turning, and the launcher tells me that this modpack requires at least 2.5GB of ram to run, and I'm only using 512MB. My machine has 8GB of ram onboard. How do I fix it to where java can use more than 512MB?

This can be solved by going into the Technic Launcher, selecting 'Launcher Settings' and 'Java Settings'. From there you can select how much RAM you want allocated. If this doesn't work, make sure you have updated Java and that your Java version is 64-bit and not 32-bit (which is the default download for some strange reason?).
