Technic Won't Open

Hello. The other day i had to download java 1.8 for a pixelmon mod pack. After i downloaded it my pc restarted. After the restart i haven't been able to open technic at all. I even tried to open it as administrator and nothing worked. Please help if you can

Need a log to say for sure. 

I'll take a guess though and say you have Windows 10.  Try downgrading it to Java 8u25 x64

Actually I am running windows 8.1. I probably should have put that in the forum post

where do i get a log?

Click the gear in the top right of the launcher. It'll lead you to it.

how am i supposed to click the gear if i cant open technic(my problem from the beggining)

Look in C:\Users\*your username*AppData\Roaming\.technic\logs

and copy / paste the result into pastebin.com , and paste a link that here.
