Tekkit runs vanilla Minecraft, but Technic runs modded.

Title: Tekkit doesn't run any mods!

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Java Version: 7.0.90.5

Description of Problem:

When I run Tekkit from the Technic launcher, none of the mods load and I'm basically playing vanilla Minecraft. But if I run Technic from the launcher, all the mods run normally. I have successfully used Tekkit before (all mods ran just fine). How can I get Tekkit to load mods again?

Not sure if I should put the log here or not considering that I haven't gotten an error... I did look @ the most recent Tekkit log file though & saw 'SEVERE' a lot... Please let me know if I should povide the log.

Could be a problem with your download. Press Clear Cache in the options for the Launcher and redownload.

I've done that, along w/completely uninstalling and reinstalling the whole thing. Do you think it would be helpful to provide the log file?

Yeah, give the log file a go. It may be that your Antivirus is blocking the download, so what are you using?

I use Microsoft Security Essentials. I've never had any problems w/it before. Also, it seems that

doesn't work here... and this log is pretty big... Not quite sure how to proceed w/out getting a ton of infractions for multiple posts...

Put the log in the code log instead, that cuts it down to a max size and is scrollable. Security Essentials isn't your problem, I use that too. Have you tried downloading a different version of Tekkit to see if that works? If it does, try 3.1.2 again.
