Launcher refuses to start.

I doubt this is the correct area for this topic, but I couldn't find a better place to put it and am honestly too tired, sorry.

I downloaded technic launcher last night after a long time away from Minecraft.. It used to run fine so I was hoping I could just download it and jump into survival with some mates, but apparently the launcher said no, I don't want to work.

I don't know much, in fact all I know that when I double-click the TechnicLauncher.exe, it puts the loading circle next to my mouse, then stops and does nothing. Nothing shows in task manager, it just stops and does nothing. I've tried many things, like deleting my old .technic folder in %appdata%, and a few other things, like changing compatability settings (Which I didn't think would work, lol)

Any help is welcome, idk where to go from here.

That's the thing, there is no log. It doesn't do anything, it tries to start but does absolutely nothing.

Go to C:\Users\*YourWindowsUserName*\AppData\Roaming\.technic\logs and grab the most recent one.
