0 Sullivan
im only 13 so i dont understand most of this but where do i find the modpack? Kevin, Dont listen to Jorcer. He is not being too helpful.... On the previous page a fellow named UkSp0ng3 gave some instructions on how to install the modpack to fix this issue. If you know where the appdata is and how to rename a file your good to go Everyone starts learning somewhere. If you want to take this into private matters if you still dont understand just sent me a private message and I would be happy to help.

He asked where to download the modpack, if he doesn't know how to do that, it is safe to assume he isn't having the update failed issue yet. 0 Faarshadnia
Possible solution (worked for me) Download minecraft.jar manually for the modpack you need. As some modpacks run on different Minecraft versions, please choose the modpack you want to use: Tekkit, Technic, Yogbox, Hack Slash Mine, Voxel Modpack Rename the minecraft.jar to minecraft_1.2.5.jar (Tekkit and Technic), minecraft_1.2.3.jar (Yogbox and Hack/Mine), minecraft_1.3.2.jar (Voxel Modpack) Place the renamed file into %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\cache (you can open the start menu then type %APPDATA% for quick access). Launch the launcher, select your desired modpack and it should work. Worked perfectly, Thank you

0 GreenWolf13
How would i rename the file? It requires a basic understanding of computers, something you clearly do not have.
