Description of Problem:

when I try to start tekkit launcher it said

error starting launcher

Cannot load C:\Users\Richard\Appdata\Roaming\logs

Error Messages:

error starting launcher

Cannot load C:\Users\Richard\Appdata\Roaming\logs

Error Log:

Go to C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Roaming\logs, open the log file, and paste it here so we can see what the problem is.

How to get to AppData if you are unsure

1. If you are on Windows 7 or Vista, open the start menu and type '%APPDATA%
   
2. This will take you to the Roaming folder. Open .techniclauncher and open the logs folder.
   But for some reason, it's saying your log folder is not in .techniclauncher, it's in Roaming. So try there too.
   
3. Paste the log here
   

Suggested solution (may not work):

1. Download the .jar version of the launcher HERE
   
2. Run it and see if it works
