This suddenly happened while playing Tekkit and now everytime I load up Tekkit it still does it - straight away. Even new worlds. So I crawled the subdomain and I located all the files and folders currently inside. Well, many of you may be aware of the subdomain for minecraft.net which is assets.minecraft.net Many of you know this because it's where the jars are stored. But after I dug deep for abit, I found out it wasn't just jars. http://assets.minecraft.net/Barney---You're-a-Douchebag.jpg Like seriously - wtf? There's also an archive called 'tominecon' - last updated on 8th August 2012 (don't ask how I know this). However, it's password protected, so don't bother. I guess it's what they downloaded on the computer at Minecon to get the files they needed. http://assets.minecraft.net/tominecon.7z Hmm. I wonder if anyone has actually searched this site abit?

Solution: Minecraft 1.4.6 has just been updated so it may have caused problems with the launcher. Please give the Technic team time to patch this.

Which version of the server software do you have and which version of Tekkit are you playing with? By the way: you've posted in the wrong section, there's a sticky at the top of this forum explaining the consequences of this.

Judging by that, it can't find the 'net.minecraft.Launcher' class. Try opening the Technic launcher > click Options > click Clear cache > login. If it asks to update, press Yes.

You've posted the launcher log, you need to post the log for Technic.

Solution Download minecraft.jar manually for the modpack you need. As some modpacks run on different Minecraft versions, please choose the modpack you want to use: Tekkit, Technic, Yogbox, Hack Slash Mine, Voxel Modpack Rename the minecraft.jar to minecraft_1.2.5.jar (Tekkit and Technic), minecraft_1.2.3.jar (Yogbox and Hack/Mine), minecraft_1.3.2.jar (Voxel Modpack) Place the renamed file into %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\cache (you can open the start menu then type %APPDATA% for quick access). Well, if you want to use Hamachi with it then you'll need to re-enter the IP back after server-ip= But if you can portforward, you can just leave it blank and it'll be fine. If you use Hamachi, chances are you'll either get the same problem. But you can obviously try connecting to your server using your Hamachi IP. An option if you are wary about security is portforwarding, and instead of giving people your actual IP, give them one you can generate over at http://no-ip.com since then they won't be able to find out your IP. I'd definitely recommend portforwarding. You should delete the IP you set after the server-ip= Then try launching the server and connecting again.
