Cant place blocks that are from a mod

So i started my own techkkit server, I start it up. Go in the server and its working fine. I try to place any block from a mod it removes it from the ground and my inventory. Im new to this so please help.

open the launcher, click the cog wheel (top right). Open the logs (bottom left). Copy the entire log and go to ubuntu.pastebin.com and paste it there. Copy and paste the link to that here.
